iHome iP42
$49.99
Released April, 2010
The Pros:Volume quick-select settings allows for fast switching between daytime and sleep modes. Large display is very easy to read and work with. Design enables the use of a hard case around the iPhone without having to remove it to dock.
The Cons:Larger footprint than other models of this type. Any button other than the snooze button will turn off the alarm - you have to wake up enough to aim properly in order to sleep a little more. Entire display is lit up, brighter than it should be, especially at night.
