iLive IHT3807DT
$80.00
Released January, 2009
The Pros:Sound quality is adequate for the average office or bedroom. Good radio reception, gets distant signals fairly well. Controls are simple and intuitive, easy to work with.
The Cons:Doesn't recharge an iPod while playing from it. Fairly big and bulky for a dock, takes up more room than most.
The iLive IHT3807DT is a compact, 2.1-channel speaker system featuring two integrated full-range stereo speakers and a built-in subwoofer. It was built primarily for playing iPods, as it includes an iPod dock that works with almost all recent models.

It does, however, host dual auxiliary ports for connecting an additional music device. The centerpiece to the iLive IHT3807DT is its heavy-set audio system, which utilizes SRS TruBass and 3D Enhanced Audio to deliver an almost surround-sound experience. Plus, the user has the option of hooking up an external sub via the included subwoofer output jack. Other notable aspects include a plethora of sound/iPod controls (treble, bass, volume, EQ, play/skip, etc), digital AM/FM radio with presets, and a digital LCD clock.
