The iLuv i1155 is designed for people on-the-go who would prefer a larger screen than the one already on their iPod. The 8.4” TFT screen is in 16:9 widescreen format to accommodate movies, unlike the iPod with video and iPod nano. The iLuv i1155 has touch-sensitive buttons that can control iPods remotely, plus S-Video/composite video out for displaying content on TVs. This device can be powered 3 ways: by AC power, a cigarette lighter adapter and the built-in rechargeable battery. DVD playback on the battery lasts approximately 3 hours, where video playback from an iPod will last about 4 hours. This unit can also be used for photo slideshows by way of an iPod or recordable CD/DVD.
