The iLuv i198 is a Hi-Fi audio system with an integrated iPod dock, a CD player, an AM/FM radio. Included also is an auxiliary input for accessing MP3 players (via a 3.5mm jack) and a USB interface for playing MP3 files stored on a USB audio device.

At its core is iAura acoustic speaker engineering, iLuv’s proprietary technology built for superior-quality audio. Most unique about the iLuv i198 is that it can in fact be used to transmit iPod video – 5th generation required – to a television. Additional features of the iLuv i198 include a digital clock display with a dual alarm, programmable presets for up to 40 radio stations, and compatibility with both 5” & 3” discs.
Additional Information
For a more affordable, albeit less-featured model – it does not include a CD player – consider the i189.
