iLuv iSP100
$25.00
Released September, 2008
The Pros:Small enough to carry around anywhere without effort. Battery lasts a long time between charges. Stylish design, looks like a nice high-end accessory.
The Cons:Not loud enough to fill a small room with sound. Sound can be a little tinny and washed out depending on what you're listening to. Easy to accidentally bump the button during transport, draining the batteries.
The iLuv iSP100 is a lower-end portable stereo speaker for iPods and other MP3 players. The iSP100 delivers 2 W per channel using what iLuv promotes as 360-degree 'dynamic' stereo sound. The unit lacks a universal dock, as an iPod, iPhone, or other MP3 player is connected instead via headphone jack.
