The JBL On Stage 400P is a higher-end iPod/iPhone dock and speaker system. It features a compact, minimalist design, as a connected device stands upright on a glossy black platform above 360° speaker grilles.

A 3.5mm auxiliary input allows a Mac, PC, or other MP3 player to be connected to the device in addition to an iPod or iPhone, which the system will recharge while connected. The 400P also syncs connected iPods and iPhones with iTunes via USB. Four 15-watt transducers and a 30-watt subwoofer combine to provide 90 W of total output power and above-average bass response for a system of this size.
