Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2
$150.00
Released June, 2009
The Pros:Good sound considering its size. 10 hour rechargeable battery with status indicator. Includes functional remote control.
The Cons:Lacks bass - like most small iPod docks. 5 hours of battery life rather than the claimed 10 - still good, but a false claim nonetheless. Automatic shut-off feature often jumps the gun and turns the unit off during extended quiet portions of songs - not set to wait long enough!
The Logitech Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 is a critically acclaimed iPod docking station outfitted with 2” active Max-T high-excursion drivers and 3” pressure drivers for a maximized bass response. It features an iPod dock that works with every type of iPod available, including the Classic, Nano, and Touch.

Some of the more touted features include a ten-hour rechargeable battery, a wireless remote that works from 30’ away, an easy interface laced with simple-to-use one-touch controls, an auxiliary input for cooking a portable media player, and a travel bag. The one and only drawback that detractors can find is the lack of an integrated radio tuner. Otherwise, both fans and critics alike hail the unit as first-class.
