The DS9000 is the first model in the series to reach a professional level, as it is incorporates audiophile-quality drivers and a passive crossover system for authentic sound reproduction across the full audible spectrum. Plus like its predecessors (DS8500, DS8550), the DS9000 utilizses PureDigital audio for enhanced sound clarity; a proximity sensor to active the backlit control panel; and bass management technology for deep, undistorted bass. Unfortunately, it lacks an auxiliary input and a remote control.
